WHAT dance theatre, under the artisitic direction of Julie Freeman, will be sharing a new piece that explores themes of indigeneity and assimilation. This piece features the beautiful Stella Aryan, Alfonzo Cervera and Irvin Gonzalez and will be performed as part of the New Shoes Series at Highways Performance Space. Mark your calendars!!

About the Festival:
This festival will fill 17 blocks of Little Italy from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Attendance is free! The weekend-long event is recognized as San Diego’s premier arts and cultural event and the largest fine art festival in Southern California attracting 125,000 residents and visitors! Over 350 local, national and international artists showcase every medium, including painting, sculpture, glass work, photography, fine jewelry and more including 5 performance stages with the Dance on the EDGE being the largest and most prominent sponsored by The San Diego Union-Tribune.
Join WHAT dance theatre at Back to the Grind in Riverside for Dance a Go-Go at the quarterly event, Between the Tables. Between the table is produced by PLACE Performance. Dancers include WHAT dance theatre regulars, Stella Aryan, Casey Avaunt, Irvin Gonzalez, Alfonso Cervera and Julie Freeman. Joining us for this event are if dancers, Chloe Freeman and KristaNelson.
